MBA is a acrylamide derivative, its molecular weight is 154.17 and its appearance is white or pale yellow powdered crystal, low poison and the single oral LD50 of young albino mice is 390mg/kg. It isn’t irritating to skin and has no systemic toxicity, and it can be solubled in water and organic solvent, as alcohol, acetone etc., MBA has two identical and extremely functionals, which can be copolymerized with viny monomer such as acrylic acid, styrene, vinyl acetate and ethylene etc. It is widely used to medicine, papermaking, electronic, daily chemical, coating, adhesives and water treatment, etc.
